BLAST Premier: Spring Groups concluded

On the evening of January 29th, the last matches of the BLAST Premier: Spring Groups 2023 were played and the participants of the BLAST Premier: Spring Final 2023 and the regional Showdown tournaments were determined.

6 teams made it to the BLAST Premier: Spring Final 2023 - 3 group winners (Vitality, FaZe, G2) and 3 best play-in teams, which ended on January 29th. In the deciding matches, Heroic defeated BIG (2:1), Astralis beat OG (2:1) and Natus Vincere defeated Complexity (2:1).

BIG and OG will join Ninjas in Pyjamas, who were eliminated earlier in the tournament, in the European Showdown. Complexity Gaming, Team Liquid and Evil Geniuses will play in the American Showdown.

Both regional Showdowns will take place from April 12th to 16th, with the winners of the tournaments advancing to the BLAST Premier: Spring Final 2023. The $450,000 BLAST Spring Final is scheduled for June 7-11.
