G2 win BLAST Premier World Final

BLAST Premier: World Final 2022, the last big CS:GO tournament of 2022, concluded on Sunday, December 18.

Team Liquid and G2 Esports made it to the finals. Both teams started the tournament in Group A and finished 2nd and 3rd respectively, so they started the playoffs in the quarterfinals.

On their way to the finals, Team Liquid beat NAVI (2-1) and OG (2-1). G2 Esports defeated Team Vitality (2-1) in the quarterfinals and ended up stronger than FaZe Clan in the semifinals.

In the best-of-3 final, G2 Esports first won Inferno (2:1) and then Mirage (16:12). The final score is 2-0 in favor of G2 Esports.

The BLAST Premier: World Final 2022 prize pool is $1,000,000, with the winner earning half that sum.
