Grim and Junior Join Extra Salt for Funspark ULTI 2021

The North American CS:GO team Extra Salt has announced its two new members. They are Michael "Grim" Wince and Paytyn "junior" Johnson, who earlier played together in Triumph. The players join the team right in time for Funspark ULTI 2022.

21-years-old Junior joins the team after a five-month tenure with Bad News Bears, with whom he won three ESEA Cash Cup events and Fragadelphia 15. Grim, who is also 21-years-old, spent the previous season with Team Liquid, placing first at cs_summit 8 and 1st – 2nd at BLAST Premier: Fall Showdown 2021.

Next week they will compete at Funspark ULTI 2021, a $250,000 online event scheduled for January 18th – 24th. There they will play as the runner-ups of the previous event of the series. To learn more about the event, check our recent piece.

According to hltv sources, Extra Salt have not signed contracts with Grim and Junior. It is reported that in the near future the entire roster will transfer to Complexity Gaming.
