RNG to Play at Worlds 2021 without their Head Coach Tabe

The Chinese team Royal Never Give Up has announced that their head coach Wong "Tabe" Pak-Kan will not be able to attend Worlds 2021, as it is impossible for him to travel to Iceland due to visa issues. However, the coach will continue helping the team remotely.

RNG managed to qualify for the event through LPL Regional Final, securing their place in the group stage after defeating LNG Esports in its grand finals. At Worlds they will compete in Group C alongside PSG Talon, Fnatic and one Play-In team.

2021 World Championship will be played on October 5th – November 6th in Reykjavík, Iceland, featuring 22 teams competing for a $2,225,000 prize pool. Earlier the organizers have drawn the groups for both Play-In and Main Stage.
